Returns Policy


RETURNS
 

Whilst we hope you love your purchase, if you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we will happily offer a refund or exchange.


RETURNS POLICY

In accordance with the UK distance selling regulations, you have the right to cancel your order within 7 working days following delivery of your order and, if necessary, return the goods to us for a full refund.  You must notify us in writing by email during this period of your intention to cancel and a returns code will be provided.  Should you wish to cancel your order, any goods supplied must be returned within 7 days of your notice to cancel.  DO NOT return goods without first obtaining a return code from us.

A Returns Form can be found attached to your Order Confirmation and must be completed and returned with your goods giving full details as to the reason for the return and the return code.

Alternatively, you can return the goods in store at Escape Boutique or Mitchells Menswear if accompanied by the Order Confirmation and, if accepted, a refund will be processed immediately. 


Please note:

  • Returns will only be accepted if goods returned are unworn, undamaged and returned with all packaging and original tags still attached to the garment within the timescales above.
  • The return package is your responsibility until it reaches us therefore we recommend, for security purposes, that you send the package by recorded delivery with adequate insurance for the value of the goods.  Please keep a record of proof of postage with tracking number if available for use in the event of loss or damage.
  • The cost of returning the item to us is your responsibility.
  • The postage paid will not be refunded when returned for a refund, however, exchanges will be posted free of charge (UK mainland only)
  • Please quote your Order Reference Number in all correspondence and ensure you include the original invoice with your parcel.
  • Where provided, dustbags, leather tags, authenticity cards or guarantees should be included in your return.  Footwear should be returned unmarked and in their original and undamaged packaging with any internal packaging provided as this is considered part of the product.
  • In order to help us maintain the quality of our product please ensure that you are not wearing a perfume, aftershave, deodorant or make up that may leave a scent or marks on the clothing.  We will not be able to accept the return of any item where there is evidence that these instructions have not been followed.  


FAULTED ITEMS
 

Whilst we make every effort to ensure goods despatched are in perfect condition and comply with the Sale and Supply of Consumer Regulations 2002, if the item you receive is faulty you must contact us within 7 days of delivery in writing by email with details of the fault and await a returns number.  Please complete the Returns Form attached to the Order Confirmation with full details of the fault and whether you require a replacement or refund and return it along with your item to the address above.  If we accept the return as faulted 

Please Note: 

  • Goods are classified as faulted if they are received damaged or where a manufacturing fault occurs within 6 months of purchase.  Please note that items that are damaged as a result of wear and tear are not considered to be faulty.  In the event of a return as a potential manufacturers fault we may return the item to the manufacturer for their opinion, their decision is final.
  • The return package is your responsibility until it reaches us therefore we recommend, for security purposes, that you send the package by recorded delivery with adequate insurance for the value of the goods.  Please keep a record of proof of postage with tracking number if available for use in the event of loss or damage.
  • If the return is accepted as a genuine fault we will refund the return postage costs to you.
  • Where possible we will offer to repair faulted items.
  • Any exchange requested is subject to availability.

 

EXCEPTIONS

 

Some items sold including earrings, underwear and swimwear are non-refundable.  These will be clearly marked in our item descriptions and on your Order Confirmation.

 

ITEMS DESPATCHED IN ERROR

 

In the event that an item is despatched in error through no fault of your own, please contact us within 7 working days of delivery.  We will advise you how to proceed with the return and, subject to availability, exchange the item or refund.
